Jointless Detection Meets Seamless Control
The AFTC5 provides a highly configurable, jointless audio frequency track circuit solution. It generates and receives essential rate-coded carrier frequencies used for train detection and also transmits speed commands to the train.
In addition, it supports bi-directional, non-vital train-to-wayside communication signals. With Ethernet-based communication, the AFTC5 eliminates the need for discrete wiring, allowing seamless connections between multiple AFTC5 units and interlocking processors.
