Proven Track Circuit Technology
PTC-compliant WIU functions are built in, helping to reduce the number of wayside enclosures required. The system also features integrated support for remote diagnostics and maintenance, allowing seamless connection to both existing and next-generation maintenance management systems.
The EC5 is engineered for reliability, with a modular design that ensures a single I/O point failure won’t affect the performance of other modules. It supports direct-drive 12V I/O, direct interface with coded track circuits, and self-proving lighting control. Vital serial communication ports allow communication with other ElectroLogIXS® systems, including XP4, VLC, EC5, and VHLC.
